Honeywell introduces new Answerman

For the past three years, Chuck Kennedy has played an integral part of the Bendix® Answerman team – teaching training clinics from coast to coast, taking calls on the Answerman hotline and helping develop educational braking curriculum for today’s repair shops and counterpersonnel. Now, as Jay Buckley moves towards becoming Honeywell Consumer Products Group’s full-time training leader for the FRAM®, Prestone® and Autolite® brands, Honeywell Friction announces Kennedy will become the new Bendix Answerman.

“It’s great that Chuck and Jay have worked hand-in-hand over the last three years as that experience and knowledge base will make for a smooth transition,” says Jim Kelley, Director of Sales, Bendix U.S. “Chuck is totally prepared and ready to take on this new role.”

Kennedy will be responsible for running the Answerman hotline as well as facilitating all Bendix training courses. Kennedy, a 30-year industry veteran and ASE certified master mechanic, received his associate’s and bachelor’s degree in Applied Science from Southern Illinois University SIU- Carbondale. Before joining Honeywell in 2005, Kennedy spent five years with an underhood service equipment company where he handled sales and technical training on wheel balancing, alignment and brakes.

A true vehicle enthusiast, Kennedy has custom built his own motorcycle and also does his own repair work.
