Messe Frankfurt and IFEMA, a leading Spanish trade fair company, announced in Madrid that they plan to organize "Motortec Automechanika Ibérica" together. This trade fair is to establish itself as the leader in the Iberian automotive parts and aftermarket sector.

Deeza Chassis Parts, a technology focused manufacturer of premium chassis parts for the global aftermarket, has broken ground on a new 280,000 sq. ft. production plant in Turkey. At an estimated cost of $6 million, the new facility is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2012 and will nearly double the company's production capacity. Gokhan Kuru, president, Deeza Chassis Parts, announced that the company will also invest in new tooling for the facility.

COVERKING signed a subscription agreement on March 11 with Illumaware to use Evokat 2.5, Illumaware's Web-based data authoring tool to manage their own aftermarket data. This do-it-yourself approach marks a departure from the company's previous practice of third-party data management.
