EPTDA, the European Power Transmission Distributors Association, has added four new members, taking its portfolio to 192 member companies from 23 countries.

The two distributor companies to join EPTDA are GETECNO srl (Genova, Italy), a distributor of bearings, seals and couplings; and BILYA SANAYI (Izmir, Turkey), a distributor of bearings, belts and belts drives, conveyor components and linear motion products.

The association also added JENA ROTARY TECHNOLOGY LTD. (Nottingham, UK), a manufacturer of gears and gearboxes, bearings and linear motion products, into its Manufacturer Members list.

Additionally, JÄGER AG (Karlsruhe, Germany), a company with core competence in Kanban management, JIT hose assembly and JIT pipe bending and assembly, joined EPTDA under the Associate Member category.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome four new members to our growing portfolio," says Manfred Beitel, President of EPTDA. "EPTDA is a premier organization for the European PT/MC industry, and despite the ongoing economic crisis and fear of growing consolidation, the association remains confident in its growth and sustainability strategies.

"Our continuous and steady growth of membership further proves that we add value to our members' business and success and the global PT/MC industry," Beitel adds. "As a strong voice of the industry, EPTDA will continue to support its member companies fight the ongoing downturn in the most creative and opportunist way."

The new members will join EPTDA's upcoming Annual Convention in Rome, Italy, from Sept. 23 to 25.
