R. L. Polk & Co. and Activant Solutions Inc. will soon launch a new intelligence solution for aftermarket manufacturers to help them enhance efficiency and identify business opportunities. The new Catalog Coverage The two companies have integrated Polk’s National Vehicle Population Profile® (NVPP) for light vehicles and Trucking Industry Profile (TIPNet®) data for class 1-6 trucks, with the Web-based Activant® Vista market intelligence solution, which captures and analyzes an extensive nationwide database of daily electronic catalog transactions by part number and vehicle platform.
