In his new capacity, Zuckerman will oversee the production and delivery of the world’s first bio based totally-green biodegradable motor oil, G-OIL, as well as 16 new SKU’s for January 2009.

In addition to this announcement, Jeff Marshall will add chairman of the board to his current CEO title. Jeffrey Loch, a co-founder of the company with Zuckerman, will now serve as chairman of the advisory board in addition to his current marketing responsibilities.

The announcement comes on the heels of Green Earth Technologies’ G-OIL Ultimate Biodegradable green motor oils passing all of the engine test criteria for The American Petroleum Institute (API) SM Certification, which is expected to lead to significant sales of the product.

“I look forward to the exciting year ahead as we begin production of our 4-Cycle G-OIL to fulfill the demand for the first quarter of 2009,” said Zuckerman. “With the API Certification for G-OIL on the horizon, we hope to encourage consumers to do their part in saving the environment and reducing dependency on foreign oil, without sacrificing performance or having to pay more.”
