Ryobi, Green Earth Technologies to partner in 2009

Green Earth Technologies, a green consumer goods manufacturer and marketer, will be partnering its G-OIL™ with all Ryobi Outdoor Gas Powered Equipment beginning in 2009.

This partnership follows 2-Cycle G-OIL Green Engine Oil's recent passage of the Japanese Automotive Standards Organization (JASO) FD tests and the global standard, ISO-L-EGD.  G-OIL 4-Cycle 10W-30 has also met the API – SM standards, becoming the first outdoor 4-Cycle 10W-30 engine oil to be available at retail with API’s highest ranking.

In addition to including a 2.6 oz bottle of G-OIL in all factory packed gas powered equipment, TTI, the manufacturer of Ryobi Outdoor Power Equipment, will distribute G-OIL to all retailers stocking the Ryobi brand. TTI thoroughly tested G-OIL and determined that the oil passed all of their performance requirements. The no smoke formula will be healthier to use for consumers and the environment.

“Not only does G-OIL satisfy the warranty requirements of all outdoor gas powered equipment, but it over achieved our expectations to the point that we prefer to include a 2.6 oz bottle of G-OIL with every purchase of Ryobi next year,” says Lee Sowell, president of TTI Outdoor Power Equipment.

“Ryobi Outdoor Power Equipment has an exceptional reputation in the power tool industry and we are very proud that they have selected G-OIL as their companion oil brand for 2009,” says Dr. Mat Zuckerman, president of Green Earth Technologies.

G-OIL is the “green” solution made from American-grown base oils with a no smoke formula and has also achieved API service category TC for all 2-Cycle air-cooled outdoor engines.  The 4-Cycle G-OIL is the only animal fat bio-based oil to pass the test criteria for API-SM standards while maintaining the highest biodegradability ranking (Ultimate) as determined by ASTM Standards (2.1 ASTM D-5864).  G-OIL is available for purchase in a variety of sizes, including the 2.6 oz and 16 oz sizes.

Green Earth Technologies produces G-branded, totally green products made with American-grown base oils that utilize the power of nanotechnology to deliver environmentally friendly products, allowing consumers to now "do their part" without having to give up performance or value. The G-brand family of products include G-OIL(TM), G-LUBE (TM), G-WASH(TM), G-GLASS(TM), G-CLEAN(TM), G-SCENT(TM), G-WHEEL(TM), G-PROTECT(TM) and G-TIRE(TM), and are offered in a wide range of automotive categories including performance and appearance chemicals. GET products are now available at The Home Depot, Kroger, VIP, National Auto, Fred Meyer, participating ACE & True Value dealers, Redners, Trader Horns, The Andersons, Biggs, Bennett Auto, Frank’s Auto Supermarket and Amazon.com.
