The event will be held May 12, 2009 at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center. A number of selected State Representatives and Senators who have been instrumental in supporting the automotive industry have been invited to speak at this event.

The NABAS Scholarship Fund has awarded over $900,000 in Scholarships to over 88 students since 2000. Last year’s 20th Annual Scholarship Dinner raised $147,000 and awarded 4 full and 6 annual scholarships.

NABAS member companies have annual sales of $3 billion, employ 25,000 people and have global operations. The association works to promote long-term, mutually beneficial relationships between black automotive suppliers and the automotive industry.
